Finding that perfect Texas ranch or hunting acreage can be a little trickier than finding a house in the city. You see, in your home town, all of the real estate companies usually participate in the same Multiple Listing Service for the area. You can either tell an agent what area you like and what size of house you want and they can sit at the computer and search all available listings that meet your criteria. In many cases, you can also do this search yourself and feel confident that you have looked at everything that is available.
Many rural land Brokers are not part of any MLS and they may have great listings that you could miss. I personally network with other Texas land Brokers to make sure that my customers or clients are exposed to as many listings meeting their interests as possible. I also scout the area for properties that are For Sale by Owner that may be the right place for my customers or clients.
